been taken of low dose of Bisoprolol

Went to drop of 24 hr heart monitor then pick up car this morning ,its a walk of about 3 miles not walking fast , but still came over weak , aching legs, pain in shoulder, after a mile and a half in to the walk, rested for a few minutes then started again later it came back , managed to pick up the car. Managed to get a gp appointment , explained everything to him . And he suggested to come of Bisoprolol . He said once they get the results from the heart monitor, they can plan the next move . Usually they get results in a week , but they have been running late ,so it will be 2 weeks now. Also the bisoprolol can take up to a week to come out of your system , wonder if anyone else has come of Bisoprolol and how long they took to get over it.

Hi, I was only on 1.25 and my heart rate went down to 35. I fainted after about 2 weeks taking it, ended up in A and E for 7 hours and then told not to take it anymore. It takes ages to get the right medication for most people, they always start you off on the cheapest then go from there.

Hi I came off bisoprolol as side effects outweighed any benefit,I was on 2.5mg,which was split into 1.25 twice a day,then reduced to 1.25 once a day,then I halved that( with a sharp knife) and after 4-5days stopped altogether, I did it slowly to ensure didn't go back in A F

I came off and straight away the dizziness etc cleared considerably. Much better off of it but still have number of problems of course.
