I have this thought wondering through my mind and I need to get it down on paper (so to speak).
So I have a moderate restriction in my LADA and also I had a 100% block in my Left Femoral and a smaller block in my Right Femoral....so based on this my question is:- am I likely to have restrictions in my Carotid artery or other major vessels that I don't know about. If the answer is yes then what do I do about it? How do you get pro-active with this rather than waiting for a stroke to happen or worse?
TIA

Apologies, it’s a social media shortcut. I don’t know the answer but am interested to follow any responses you get. (One of my fears after a HA four years ago is a stroke).
I have no proof or medical training but I would suspect it's quite likely. YOu can have a simple ultra sound of your carotid arteries or a CT scan. Both available privately or NHS. My last echo scan of heart checked the neck arteries too. Talk to your GP. I would think that you would be on medication already for your blockages so that would also protect your neck arteries inthe same way.
Thank you for your thoughts. I hadn't considered Private, but I will now. I'm on a load of medications (13 different ones) and I'm trying to work out if my dizziness at mealtimes and at random points during the day is related to the meds or narrowing of neck vessels.
