Fluctuating BP

Hi , I have a pacemaker due to heart block and non compaction. I take among other things bisoprolol and candesartan. Lately my blood pressure fluctuates between 103/68 and 146/102 , I’m getting headaches quite often and get a bit light headed at times. I’m going to try and speak to the gp but not really sure what they can do . Just wondered if anyone else had had this problem before.

I am getting the same issue with BP, though not quite as extreme as you, and I don't have a pacemaker.Get an appointment, preferably with your GP, but you could talk to a clinical pharmacist if it's too long a wait to speak to your GP.

It might also be worth ringing the Blood Pressure UK helpline to see if they can offer some ideas.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t know about the BP help line. I’ll have a google for the number.
