I am having a ECG Thursday morning, I know I should not exercise before the ECG,

But I have been trying to find out via google if I can take part in strenuous exercise on Wednesday lunch time.

The only answer I get are not to exercise before an ECG!!

Any help would be appreciated.

What strenuous exercise are you planning to do? The answer to the question is it depends on the individual and what they plan to do.

If you are fit and exercise doesn't have the risk of triggering your symptoms in your case , and you have a normal recovery time moderate rather than strenuous exercise the day before would be fine.

But if you usually feel tired or suffer from muscle soreness the day after exercise , you've been ill recently or feel run down, or you know it can sometimes trigger your symptoms and don't want to affect your ECG results then you may be better not exercising the day before your test, or at least choosing a more gentle form of activity.

It all depends what your body tells you.

You wouldn't usually exercise on the day of your ECG before you have it.
