Hi, my daughter is 22 and has had a 24 hour ECG monitor fitted 10 weeks ago, but has not had results back yet as they are taking around 14 weeks. She is booked to go to Amsterdam for 4 days next week. Does anyone know if any insurance companies will cover her for the undiagnosed condition? Thanks

undiagnosed condition
I am with Staysure and as far as I’m aware, a majority of travel insurance providers will not cover undiagnosed conditions or a condition which is still undergoing investigation as I have been in that position before. Some choose to travel despite not being covered however, I wouldn’t recommend this in case something does happen abroad, and you will be faced with having to pay for the costs out of pocket if the incident is cardiac related.
Could you perhaps look at postponing the holiday? I would think that this is perhaps the more safer option.
All the best.

as has been said, I can’t imagine an I surance company would want the risk. You already have the European health card, I hope, which might cover some things.
I can only echo what the others have said . The insurance companies I've used won't touch anyone who's under investigation. I feel for her as I'm in the same position at the moment . Waiting for results and diagnosis, and I so want to go away.
Sending her my best wishes 🤗
