had stent fitted nearly 3 weeks ago , I’m sometimes getting woken at night with ache in my left leg . Wonder if it’s vascular issue with leg getting enough oxygen , or could it be my Statin . Just been switched from pravastatin to rosuvastatin

it’s a possibility - they can test the blood pressure in your leg quite easily to compare it with your arm blood pressure. Otherwise it requires an ultrasound

I get leg pain all the time - I’m fairly sure it is a medication side effect. Statins are know to potentially cause leg muscle pain and cramping

or it could be a side effect of arthritis in spine

I was put onto Rouvastatin due to unbearable cramp in my legs. I'd already been on 2 other statin brands which gave me the same cramps. Unfortunately being on Rouvastatin didn't change anything so now I've been put on something that's not a Statin but does a similar job. No cramps now! I think you should see your GP to discuss the pain you're getting
