I had a quadruple bypass in 2016. Now recurring episodes of fluctuating heart rate and blood pressure.

I am awaiting cardiology appointment for 24 hour monitoring.

I am very concerned.

Hi, only had 4x CABG in July after Nstemi so it’s all rather new to me. I hope you get sorted out soonest !

What happened in those years up to this point? Have you had meds changed ? Followed nutrition plan/lifestyle guidance? What sort of heart attack did you have ?

Sorry to hear you are having heart rate issues. I had a triple bypass in 2018 and have had no issues since, so just some thoughts:

I'm wondering whether this has come on suddenly or over a period of time.

Have any of your medicatiins been changed?

Has there been a change in your circumstances... for example something that might cause stress?

I hope you get the cardiology appointment soon. In the meantime try to keep calm. I know this is easier said than done, but worrying about sonething usually only has a negative effect.

Hello a couple of points that may be relevant like age and medication would help, also how much is your HR and BP changing.

Hello DippynDopey, I have had a 24 hour ECG, if that's what you are referring too, it's can be done your self at home, they send everything you need and instructions and there is a link to video step by step instructions.
