Hello :-)

I am really not sure how you have managed to run out of meds

Are you in the UK if so they should be on repeat and if you put your repeats in when you should then you will never run out

But I would not go 5 days before I saw my Consultant without you either need to phone 111 or if you are in the UK as it does not say on your Bio and if you have enough to take over the weekend then first thing Monday you need to contact your Doctors and tell them you have none left

Please get this sorted as you need to be taking your meds it is important

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Hello

I agree with BeKind28, I wouldn't go without. Another suggestion is to return to speak with the Pharmacist who fulfilled the original prescription to discuss with them (pharmacists can provide aspirin without prescription and at very little costs).

By the way, the same happened to me after my first consultation - my prescription didn't cover the full period until the next consultation, yet it hasn't become a repeat prescription presumably because the consultant intended to adjust after the next consultation - it's just a hole I fell into.

I ran out of statins too, so had to have a video GP consultation to get another lot. GP just asked what I was taking and repeated it....

Best do something. All the best

If it's just aspirin then you can buy it anywhere. I don't have mine on prescription as its so cheap and I feel happier with the enteric coated ones. If its other meds then you need to ring your GP to see if you can have a repeat. 5 days is a long time to go without.

Your discharge letter should have gone to your GP who should be providing all your repeat prescriptions. Ring them urgently; you must not be without medication which should be a lot more than just aspirin.

Never go without your tabs. Ring your doctor in the morning. They will have your discharge letter with list of medications needed. Good luck x
