Hi all,

i recently discovered while feeling my throat that heart beats are not always symetric. Sometimes there are 2 beats and a break then it becomes symetric.

my resting heart beat is between 65-71.

When using my apple watch it says there is nothing.

i will attach a sequence of the ECG

I have flatulences

i really hope you can help me

Show your doc your readings. I've had similar on my Kardia device diagnosed as ectopics. They can be quite disconcerting but apparently are harmless. However do see your GP to get a professional diagnosis and put your mind at rest.

Hi wilsond. Best not to give a clinical opinion here (see Guidelines). You could edit this bit out of your message,

I did say it was ' in my opinion' thought people would recognise that that wasn't a medical one. Have deleted

HI Wilson, thank you for your feedback and yes it was clearly not a medical advice.

You're welcome, my youngest son has had them for 10 years. Sounds same pattern, really annoying and worrying. He says he got used to it being his new normal after a while. Fingers 🤞. An echo will show it .

Best wishes

My guess would be ectopic beats. PVCs are ones I get. Actually experiencing many today after had months of relative quiet period. Now today they are back with vengeance. Beats and skips, beats and skips. Feel them in my throat. Not nice. To diagnose them, the doc will send you off with a 24/48hr monitor if they are that regular. They can do week long monitors if needed.

Going to do some meditation and have a lie down. Oh and try not to worry as worry itself can make them worse. Good to know that for the majority, they are harmless and very common. Much of the time they don't find a reason. I did however find exercise routine to help take them away.

Hello,

thanks for taking time. What are PVCs? Could gases causes cause ectopics

premature ventricular contraction (PVC). Feels like a skipped beat or an extra beat. Many things can cause them. Caffeine. heart problem. even just stress and thinking about them. worry. etc
