Low atrial ectopic rhythm at a rate of 82bpm. Normal PR interval of 162ms. Normal QTc 415ms. Normal cardiac axis( most recent echo)

Normal bi ventricular size with preserved systolic function

Biplane LVEF 59%). Normal atrial sizes. BAV with moderately increased forward velocity gradients across the valve peak velocity 3.0 m/s, PG 36mmHg and MG 21 mmHg, DVI 0.44 in the context of moderate - severe AR. Previous CoA repair. Midly increased peak velocity across the aortic isthmus 2.55m/s. No diastolic tale. Pulsatile abdominal aorta. Restrictive perimembranous VSD with L-R shunt. Maximum trans-septal velocity /gradient of 5.03 m/s/101mmHg.

Sorry if this too complicated to understand I have no clue what any of this means. This is my most recent letter as I haven't received a letter from my most upto date appointment as I only had it today and as I only spoke with him for 5 minutes then there ain't gona be much in the next letter lol.

Please let me know if anyone can decode this ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‰.

I can interpret some of it but have no idea of how it interacts with the other areas so will step back and suggest you ting the BHF Heart Helpline. The Helpline is staffed by experienced cardiac nurses. If you follow the link, it will give you various options for contacting them.

Wow! That's fantastic, thank you so much - I understand the function and relationships of the sections of the heart so much better now, just because you are trying to explain it simply, rather than saying it in an "I'm God and of course you wouldn't understand" way like many cardiologists do.Absolutely brilliant. Even down to now just "knowing" systolic pressure and diastolic pressure rather than having to "remember" which is which - because it makes sense in an ingrained understanding way from what you said!

A light bulb moment! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

So well put. Thank you for taking the time to write it.

Have you got over your Voldermort attack now or are you still getting issues?

Thatโ€™s a very nicely written and clear explanation

You can contact the nurse's and they can decipher this for you. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

same as Michael, I understand some/most of your echo report but you better ask the doctor to explain properly.

One thing is sure though, I rather have your report than my own ๐Ÿ˜…

Have a great day!

Yumz199725 please forgive me for barging in on your post, but while Thatwasunexpected is here I'd like to ask something....Apart from stable cardiomyopathy ,MVD, takotsubo events, my Echo/doctors' letters state that I have LBBB, 1st degree block and left axis deviation. These are never mentioned to me and I have not had an MI, so I presume they are insignificant findings. Would you know if they are connected as one fault, or three unconnected different faults. As with others here, my cardiologist brushes me off and doesn't explain anything even though he asks me if I have any questions. I sometimes wonder if they think I'm too old to understand. anything. ๐Ÿ˜–

Woah yours sounds even more complicated then mine they never explain anything properly I think it's for our benefit but I'd rather someone just explained it to me properly so I wouldn't feel the need to worry myself sick and Google everything which I know not the best thing to do but sometimes what choice do I have ๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜•.

Ah thanks so much for taking the time to look at that and explain in to words I can understand. I know some of it had alot of normal next to so feel really silly writing all of that but I just wanted all of together in context so it would make sense and when I had Coarctation repair lol yes I was in the room ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคญbut I was a day old so probably not gona remember all that ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜†.

when I get gobbledygook from doctors I google each term and write it down. Sometimes have to translate the translations but itโ€™s worth it. Hope this helps.

#Thatwasunexpected, Agree with your last comment and already copy and pasted your previous excellent looking explanations into a word doc for future reference. Where do we send the copyright payments? What is your day job? :)
