a couple of months ago i was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroidism.. but also discovered i’ve had an abnormal thyroid since 2017, the year my chest discomfort started!.. after a CT angiogram in 2020 mild atherosclerosis was discovered.. keep taking anti anginal meds said a lovely female cardiologist.. 5 months later invasive angiogram because first was wasn’t very clear.. result? mild atherosclerosis.. stop taking anti anginal meds says male Cardiologist 🤣.. 3 weeks ago was advised by a few posters here and by BHF nurse to inform male Cardiologist about my Hashimoto diagnosis.. letter today from Cardiologist.. ummm yes.. it could be causing anginal symptoms on exertion 😂.. wait and see what happens when thyroid meds are started.. problem is.. i might not be put on thyroid meds.. but at least i now know i’ve not been imagining the chest discomfort when walking up inclines or walking briskly
