Bisoprolol side effects.
hi, had no issues since I started taking bisoprolol but had a terrible reaction to altenolol previously. Please go straight to your Dr and don’t take no for an answer. Both the NHS 111 service and pharmacy said it would just settle down. Now I know that the side effects I was having (different to you) was severe heart failure.
Hopefully yours is nothing serious but please don’t wait to raise your concerns.
Hi there yes I experienced twitching when I first started on bisoporol a year ago it lasted about 2 months then stopped I guess that my body became accustomed to it so hopefully yours will as well
Hi Gussy121. I've been on Bisoprolol coming up to 2 years now and the muscle twitching started not long after I started all my medications after MI. I have decreased my Bisoprolol to 1.25 twice a day and it settled but didn't fully dissappear. I've recently increased Bisoprolol to 1.25 3 times a day. After a few days my muscle twitching came back with vengeance. It's frustrating.
Yes but mainly my hand and fingers. I am on 2.5mgs.
Interesting - I had noticed muscle twitching lately but am not sure if this is my 'normal' pre heart issues or not - since a very unexpected diagnosis and OHS I have become a bit paranoid about every twinge! I increased my Bisoprolol when I was in Atrial Flutter to 2mg a day and didn't know it might be linked to muscle twitching. I get it in my thorax around my stomach area, legs and feet. It generally passes within a few hours.
Left pec, chest muscle is twitching a lot lately. Trying to find answers.
