I am on that for a year. I have been diagnosed.

Sorry to here of your issue. I suppose you are asking about the stress test? I have one coming up in about 2 weeks. This will be my second. They are OK you just have to do your best and if you have to stop then so be it. The more effort you can put in the more data they can get. Good luck.

It sounds worse then it us it's essentially an exercise test they measure how well your heart can cope under pressure, well with exercise and they hook you up to an ecg, and blood pressure cuff, and you have to wear a strange mask kind of like a gas mask and you exercise on a bike or treadmill for as long as you can manage they push you but not beyond what you can handle and they ask you how your feeling during and after the test. I have had so many of these I kind of feel like an expert! I can manage 5 minutes but now I have built up my exercise tolerance so hopefully next time should be able to cope witu it longer! Wish you all the best and hope your not waiting too long for your results x

hi mine was similar to Yumz199725 but without the mask. They took measurements, did an echo and ecg while I was resting then put me on a treadmill and I got to about 85% of where they wanted me to be re max heart rate. The ecg and BP I think was taken while on treadmill then they got me off it really quickly and lay down so they could do another echo immediately after exercise. I had the same chest pain but they had built up the speed gradually. I find my pain can be worse if I go from resting to sudden exertion if that makes sense. I was apprehensive beforehand too but it was not as bad as I was imagining but we are all different. They watched me like hawks and I was confident they’d stop everything if they felt there was a risk. Good luck.

Good morning Wattszee47. Yes it's a shock to the system when things suddenly go wrong. Hope they can sort things out with the tests you are having. I just had a sudden regular change of low heart beat and had to have a pacemaker fitted but was diagnosed with copd in the same week as told I needed a pacemaker. Good luck and hope everything goes well. You will get good support here. Brian
