I had a stent put in 3months ago. I went for a walk two days ago and when I slept that night I reinjured an old shoulder injury.Woke up the next morning and have had sharp centered pain in my chest that I can compare to the pain I felt a few days after having my stent.
It's very short. One to two seconds long. Very scary but goes away. I won't feel it for quite some time.
I slept last night and it didn't wake me up or I didn't feel it.
I have been up for about 3 hours and have felt it once.
No other symptoms.
Could any of you wonderful people try to help me?
I thought it might be Intercostal Nerve damage from my shoulder being hurt badly and never fixed. I don't know, I'm reaching. Thank you and God Bless you all.

I understand that it could be a case of having re-injured your shoulder again which is causing the pain however, if it’s being bothersome, which it seems like it is, it’s probably safer to call 111 and see what they suggest.
Sorry I couldn’t help you any further. I hope others have some suggestions.
Thank you so much. Ilive in the states and medicine is so different here. I have no insurance currently and they don't treat you the same without it. My bill from my stay for my stent was 70 thousand dollars. The cardiologist didn't even come see me in hospital.I saw him just last week for a 2 months check in.
I waited 3 hours to be seen 10 minutes and was hurried along and told see you in 6 months.
It's all scary. Especially when you can't see anyone. I wish I had been born in England.
I’m sorry to hear that not having insurance is making it difficult for you to access the care you need. Could you perhaps get seen by being added to a family members or friends’ health insurance? I have friends in the states and I have never thought to ask them about how medical insurance works there so I apologise for my ignorance in advance.
I'd agree with Tos here - any new chest pain should be checked out. The medical professionals would rather you got checked out and were fine rather than leaving it. Better safe than sorry.
Sounds very like a nerve related injury causing this, on the same lines as sciatica when you hurt your back and your foot hurts. Phone for advice if unsure.
