Does anyone else have higher back/chest pain post heart attack and stent placement? My husband has had this for 5 years since his heart attack. He has been checked for any cardiac and GI causes with negative results. He has the pain, which is a dragging dull ache every day and night with no relief. He is resigned to putting up with it but I feel we should try and find a diagnosis and treatment as it is horrible for him. Thank you
That’s hard and very draining, I had something similar after a bypass and continued to press for help, also I went to a good physio which helped me understand what was going on in my body and how I could help it. It’s taken time but a year on I’m moving forward.
The danger is you lose hope and then get depressed which brings its own problems so tell him to not to give up, he’s worth fighting for.
Well that sounds horrible! What does the GP say?
my cardio says it’s muscular skeletal. Shoulder neck and lower spine. Pain killers.
I have had this for 11months after stent told musculoskeletal loads of checks.till another MRI scan. Told narrowing of stent again waiting to see surgeon next options
I get it since having 2 stents fitted in Sept 24 ... i complained 3 times since about these aches but no one seems to take any notice or want to look into it ....
