news from my hospital

After my brother contacted our MP and he then made contact with me, things have happened. Basildon hospital have rung me to say the have a cancellation for next Wednesday to do keyhole surgery on my heart valve, so it looks like D Day is now fast approaching, you can guess what my head is doing

when I last saw the surgeon he said he had done people with COPD and was happy to do my operation, it’s my head, sitting here for nearly 3 years thinking the worst with no advice from anyone

Aw it's the waiting is hard. That's really reassuring thag he's done this operation on people with COPD and I'm sure that's helped put your mind at rest. x

Glad you got a date. I had experience of Basildon last year and found all the staff extremely kind. It's a good cardiothoratic centre
