Hey everyone hope your having a good morning don't know bout you but I'm sweating! So I woke up and was looking on here actually and I got a phone call from an unknown number which was St barts I told them everything and they are going to get in touch with Colchester General and get the discharge summary and then speak to the doctors at heart hospital and ring me back πŸ˜‰.

Another update : they rang me back and asked a few more questions and said everything sounds reassuring but they want to double check the ecgs with the ones they have on there system and they will call me back. Sounds like it definitely wasn't heart related which is so good to know honestly! But still glad I went to A&E could of been heart related.

That sounds like good news. When the hospital phones back I would definitely mention the echo as you may have slipped through the system. My husband was supposed to have an urgent echo before his ablation, when we didn't hear anything and the ablation was only 2 weeks away we phoned to ask when it'll be done only to be told that someone had forgotten to book it!! Oops, the hospital sorted it out & his echo was booked for a couple of days later x

Thanks lezzers yeah well good news I did ask about echo because Colchester General were insisting on it but they weren't bothered so if they do decide to call me I will ask so when is my next echo and I am supposed to have an MRI I got sent a letter telling me that and see what they say. That's a huge weight off my mind anway I worry way to much cant help it when you have a chronic illness just the way it is unfortunately. X

Good luck Colchester hospital don't bother!

There is no communication or understanding, the cardiac nurses who are supposed to support you are abrupt and don't listen to a word you say, never mind any concerns you may have or questions. and as for follow ups they don't exist at Colchester - Basildon told me I would see the cardiologist in Colchester and nothing, no letter appointment or phone call!

Basildon trust cardiologist struck me off over the phone as perfectly fine - Brompton asked how on earth I didn’t have an assigned cardiologist πŸ˜‚
