Would it be worth calling a BHF cardiac nurse to discuss your current situation before your procedure at the end of the month? I suspect the procedure will help improve your current symptoms.
I have provided the number below if you wish to use it. If your symptoms continue to get worse, don’t hesitate to contact 111 or 999.
0300 330 3311
They’re closed this evening. They are usually open from 9-5pm.
Good luck with the procedure and let us know how you get on.
i had hoped you might get a reply (with some great advice) from someone with similar heart isssues. But I read your post and just wanted to say I realised how tough this must be for you. Waiting and worrying.
Your HR is low, and though you say 20mg is a small dose, (I looked it up on line) and dizziness is a common side effect.
Have you called your GP? An alternative could be calling 111, see what they advise?
Thanks to everyone that responded. Apologies I didn't acknowledge them until now.
Thankyou Tos92 for the helpline. I did call and spoke to a lovely BHF nurse who suggested taking my furosemide differently to my other meds timing wise. That helped enormously I'm actually feeling a lot better although took a few days. Well better enough to do some normal daily functions 😀
Now just bidding my time until the Ablation procedure.
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed the long weekend.
