So I had a doctor's appointment this morning for my annual thyroid blood test. (That could be why I'm been feeling off) while the nurse was talking my bloods the doctors came in and asked if they could take some more to test for everything else π
After we left the doctors Mum was going food shopping after dropping me home, but being the stubborn person I am I asked if I could go with her as I felt up to it. She reluctantly agreed.
Wow pushing a trolly full of shopping is tiring! I even managed to sneak in a few treats including some smoked salmon and cream cheese for my lunch π
I'm now back in bed watching daytime TV! Oh how boring that is.

You stay at home maybe it will be better to go back after the Summer Holidays now you have to recover from all this and be in full health but it is going to take time so be good x
All I know about heart attacks and stents are what I've witnessed with my ex and also a next door neighbour. Both had one stent fitted and were fine, back to feeling well (don't know how their emotions were). Three to four days after having her stent Gill who lived across the road said she felt marvelous and full of energy.
What I do know about pneumonia though is that it wipes you out for weeks, shouldn't be any need to stay in bed though. You can rest just as well in a comfy armchair. I was bringing up phlegm for months and for this reason I kept away from other people and didn't feel like going out for a month or more, are you like this? I remember when in hospital with my pneumonia (had Covid alongside it too, so was in Covid ward) being told that there were lots of different types. Wish I'd asked now which one I had. Luckily I knew someone else on this forum with pneumonia and we'd update each other daily on how we were feeling, that really helped me, thank you Morzine. I lost a stone in weight as I had no desire to eat. My daughter said she never wants to see me looking so ill again.
With extra blood being taken from you this morning your doctor may have asked for your CRP to be checked to see if the infection is decreasing. I think you must be feeling a little better to feel up to going out.
