Mentally and physically exhausted

Hey Everyone

Regarding my last post, I've spoken to Mum and called 111 my BP was normal as are my temp, blood oxygen and heart rate. 111 wasn't too worried but if anything changes ring back, plus rest and drink plenty of water.

I had a shower (all by myself and no assistance) Mum's made me drink at least a gallon of water.

We've had a chat and decided I'm probably mentally exhausted as well. I broke up with my boyfriend a few months ago (kinda back on at the moment) the school trip was quite stressful them the hospital stays. So I'm going to just be kinder to myself before rushing to be back to normal. Mum has also suggested that I go with her on Sunday as "I'll feel better"

I'll think about that one.

I'm now in bed watching The Crown on Netflix and rushing to the toilet every 5 mins from all the water

hi. I’m relieved that you are ok and pleased that you got checked. You’ve been through a lot and it’s no surprise that you are worn out. Be kind to yourself and try and relax. Xx

Hi V, you have been metaphorically hit by a bus over recent weeks so I am not at all surprised you are both physically and mentally exhausted. Lots of rest and relaxation together with good food and continued hydration. Sleep well xx

Hey Judi

I actually feel like I've been hit by a bus 🤣😂

Meditation and water is tonight's excitement

Evening V, you were in my thoughts earlier but I held back as I wasn't sure what to say which could have helped. What I eventually thought I was going to say was don't hold back anything from those who love and care about you, which you have done.

I am glad that you have seen that you really need to put yourself first for now - don't forget that will you?

Finally remember post as often as you like, you have become a well respected member of this forum and a lot of your fellow hearties are with you and wishing you all the best.

Thank youI find it hard to talk to Mum as we have had a difficult relationship but we've both grown and mostly put it behind us.

I'll try to remember

I've found this forum so helpful I don't know how I'd get through the past few weeks without you. I'll post and moan as often as I can

Valentina, been reading your posts and haven't commented as plenty of excellent advice for you from other members. Don't be too impatient to get back on your feet - I was told that for every day you spend in hospital you need a week to recover. I don't know how long it was for you but obviously with serious issues it will take a lot longer. Take it easy and wishing you the very best x

Hey

I was in for about 2 weeks in total both times just under a week for the HA and just over a week for the pneumonia. So I'd guess around 2 weeks.

Thank you

So at least 14 weeks Valentina , that just for starters, pneumonia effects can take quite a while too. Hugs xx
