Has anyone ever had to make a claim on their insurance ( god forbid ) and if so how was the claims process.
I m due to go to the USA in two weeks for a week. I m stressing on it. I ended up with a tachycardia/breathing issue in October and was hospitalised for a couple of days.
Thanks

I just had a large travel insurance claim whilst overseas. The insurance comp dealt with all hospital bills, flights home, hotels etc. Just carry your insurance documents and have your 24hr emergency no in your phone.
Yes I have/am. I had a tachycardia / fainting issue in October and was hospitalised for a couple of weeks while visiting England on holiday. I phoned Saga a couple of times from my hospital bed to confirm I was covered. Saga reimbursed my costs (hotel etc) in January and yesterday confirmed that it would pay the £13.5K NHS bill. Outstanding service from Saga. I needn't have worried.
I would update your insurer about your hospital stay, it's something they would want to know & you'll have the added peace of mind knowing that you're completely covered.
Hi I haven't claimed but I do worry about it even with insurance as lezzers says phone your insurance company company and tell them you were an inpatient and anything else that might not seem important to you but it could be important to the company if a claim has to be made. I hope you have a lovely holiday take care char
