Hello :-)

You are not getting pains in your chest though , so if it is mainly your arms and legs it could be one of your medications even though none of us can diagnose of course

Have a word with your Doctor and see what they say

Please let us know how you get on :-) x

I take so many medications that I could even find the ones that are the problem. I have up asking my doctors for help when they decided that it was able to give straight answer. I suffer a lot with heart burn too. I did have my consultants change my medication as I new which one it was. But I don't if I should ask again if there anyone as the heart burn is quiet bad. Especially on a night. I don't sleep much but that not because my medication.

Hello :-)

Don't be put of at all asking again and telling them how you are suffering that is what they are there for so ask again for help sorting this out

Again some medications can cause heartburn

Please ask them to help you as with not sleeping as well this will not help making you feel good :-) x

Hi

I have an upcoming appointment. I ll try ask again. It a pain when u never seem to get anywhere and when your gp don't want to know or you can't get an appointment then it very off putting to even try. 3 year and it still a battle to get any medical people to listen.

If you suffer from 'heartburn' especially at at night it is likely that you have a gastro related condition such as reflux disease or possibly a small hiatus hernia, although of course medication can cause 'heartburn' too. I have reflux disease ( caused by a weak valve at the inlet to the stomach) and this is successfully treated by taking PPIs long term. I suggest you discuss this with your GP. Frequent long term bouts of heartburn where stomach acid backwashes into the oesophagus is serious stuff since it can over time cause cell change which in rare cases can cause oesophageal cancer but can be suppressed by medication, diet and body position .

Hi Mdent67

I also suffer with bad periods of heartburn. I take Gaviscon everyday, especially before bed time in the liquid form and find it helps relieve some of my discomfort, more so the acid reflux. The GP can prescribe you with other forms of PPI if you feel over the counter meds are not working. Omeperazole is usually a popular one. Might also be worth mentioning gastrointestinal investigations to your doctor as well if you are a chronic sufferer of heartburn.

Hope you get some relief soon :)

Hi I suffered with terrible heartburn and spoke to my consultant about it I was already on 30mg of lansoprazole twice a day and she added 20mg of famotidine it was like a miracle drug I have not had serious heartburn since, I just get it very occasionally and I take gaviscon. I don't know if it's suitable for all but maybe worth asking about, I have had a transplant and the other Meds I am on are completely different. Char

Sorry to hear about your pains. Not in your chest though, so might be muscular related if you are not as active as you were. Often heart failure reduces exercise tolerance for a variety of reasons.

No idea about the leg pains unless it's poor circulation but do get that heartburn checked out. My only symptom of a heart attack was 3 days of horrific heartburn.. My husband started having voice problems; so croaky I couldn't understand what he said. He was prescribed omeprazole for reflux by ENT. The reflux was damaging his voice box. He refused to take it because he didn't understand and said he had no stomach problems. His voice is now much worse.

Hello. I also take those meds.

Some days feel like i have done a full body workout in the gym and i have just woken up!!

Yes i have been getting leg pains real bad.

I thought Sciatica as it seems to be very similar but not in that location. (its very close) it seems to be pain connected to the same action as weeing. If i was to push too hard to wee then i can feel that pain slightly in the leg. I have been trying to stretch it out, walking it off. Just its still painful. I am wondering if it is entresto as i have been taking a stronger dose and used to get a low bad back with this med in the early days. Possibly related. I do however get real bad aniexity from entresto as well as brain fog and sometimes increased palpations.
