hi I have been home a week after being admitted for unstable angina. Still waiting to hear the outcome of the mdt meeting on what surgery I am having. In the week I have been home they told me to check my blood pressure and it’s been 90/49 and 93/65. Feeling very light headed just wondering if it could be the lisinopril and getting used to it. Nearly took myself to A and E yesterday as had a really bad day with pain. I just don’t know what actually justifies going with things the way they are especially waiting 16 hours last time xx

if you are not sure, then go through 111, they will tell you whether you need to go to A and E, Its not swift (all those questions), but if they say ‘go’ , then A and E will be expecting you. No wait. If you know its urgent, I wouldn’t hesitate.

Hi, I started taking Lisinopril 5mg daily some years ago and feeling light-headed was definitely a side-effect. However I did seem to adjust to this within a few weeks and have had no issues since then. My blood pressure is significantly higher than yours so I’m not sure whether your low b/p might cause you to feel light-headed? Hoping that things settle down soon and you feel better.

Thank you. I was admitted again last night with unstable angina so hopefully they will get to the problem of the low blood pressure too as making me feel so lousy x
