Hi on Wednesday I ended up spending 16 hours waiting to see someone about chest pains. I thought it could be all connected to my new medication that I started on Christmas Eve. After blood tests and ecgs I was admitted on to a ward on Thursday morning at 6 am. Stable angina turned to unstable. I had another angiogram yesterday to see if they could place stents in my right artery but unfortunately it was not having it. I thought I would be going home today but from what I can gather I will be here till the medical team have discussed witch surgery I will be having in the left and right arteries. Feeling quite sad today as blood pressure is really low and suffering with horrendous shoulder pain. The nurses and doctors are fabulous and they deserve so much more. Waiting in A and E they were all so calm and polite and they deserve everything they are hoping for. Good luck to all those starting their heart journeys and those that are still living it. Xx

My update
Hello
I am sorry you are stuck in Hospital and things so far have not been resolved but they will be and you will soon be home and at least you will know that you have had the right treatment whatever they decide is best try and hang onto the positives
When I was in Hospital I had dreadful shoulder pain and they put me on a strong painkiller I know how unbearable it was so mention it so you can get something to help let them know you are struggling after what you have said how well they are looking after you I am sure they will make this more comfortable for you
Thank you for updating us and when you can let us know how you are x
thank you for your kind thoughts. The shoulder pain is horrendous and they are giving me codine it has been the worst xx
Hello
I ended up on Gabapentin in the end it is strange why this happens and I still have a bad shoulder now after a triple Bypass and still have to take Gabapentin in an evening
Hopefully yours will settle down though when you have been sorted and are back home feeling more comfortable
Look forward to hearing how you get on x
Sorry you are still suffering. You really don't think about it affecting different parts of your body. You take care of you xx
Hello
No you don't think it will but I am not sure if my heart condition triggered it or they have given it a name what they say it is cannot remember what they call it but they say it is not related to my heart
I even had steroid injections a year after my Bypasses and they have not worked
You take care as well you will be home soon x
They said mine isnt related to my heart but I only got it when I had the heart attack xx
Hello
Same here which is a coincidence
Mine is the left shoulder
Makes you wonder doesn't it x
Thank you I really hope so I was hoping to go home but I don’t know whether I will before Tuesday. I didn’t even realise I had one I just thought it was indigestion and put myself to bed in September so yes would love to get it sorted xx
So sorry to hear your in hospital wish you all the best with upcoming surgery and the recovery.
Please take care and get plenty of rest ❤️
Yes, if they want to keep you in for treatment take it as the alternative is to become an out patient when you could wait many months for treatment.
Hello Fourwhitesheps I’m sorry to read you are in hospital. I know how difficult that can be. First of all you’re admitted with something happening that’s never happened before so it’s all the unknown and if you’re anything like I was, you’re surrounded by much older ladies who look a lot more poorly than you which I found very emotional and brought back sad memories of my granny and mum. It’s a lonely place where you have a lot of time to think but please try and remember it’s temporary, you’re in a safe place surrounded with medics and carers, you’re being monitored and the docs will decide the best treatment for you. You are now safely in their care. Just get through today, docs will be back tomorrow and hopefully you will know what’s happening and then be on the road to recovery. You’ll soon be home I promise. Stay strong - you’ll get through this ❤️🧚🏼♀️
I remember being admitted to cardiac ward and I was the only young person, at that time I was 22 and there people surrounding me that were in there 60z and 70z 💔.
thank you so much for your kind words just so overwhelmed but as everyone says I am in the right place. I hope you are ok xxxx
Hello again, yes I’m 10 weeks on from my HA so just learning to accept what has happened and try and move forward. I’m lucky compared to some but completely understand the fear, uncertainty and unknown but I look back and think how far I’ve come in 10 weeks and find it amazing how strong and robust our bodies are following a traumatic event. You will start to feel a bit more content once you know what you’re dealing with and on the right treatment so hang on in there and accept all the help and advice you are given. Good luck with your outcome - you will bounce back from this! ❤️🧚🏼♀️
I wish you well on your recovery. I have just seen the consultant and I am going home this afternoon. The medical meeting is now on next Monday. I am definitely having surgery but they are not sure what or where it will be done. I feel ok with going home as feel I would be better at home and free up a bed. I just hope that it won’t be too much of a wait to hear back xx
Brilliant news - you’ll be in your own bed tonight! Bliss! You’re in the system now, the meeting will take place and I’m sure you will get a date for your surgery ASAP. In the meantime if you don’t feel happy with things or aren’t feeling well, get in touch with GP, don’t sit worrying and please don’t Dr Google. Look after yourself and do keep us posted with how you are feeling and when you get a date for your op. Thank you for your kind words and wishes. We’ll get there. Lots of love ❤️🧚🏼♀️
Hi Fourwhite sheps,I'm so sorry to hear your having such a horrible time.
I was admitted to hospital on Thursday and told I had had another heart attack, which now makes 3!! I'm still here! Waiting for a bed in another hospital that does coronary angiograms. The cardiology ward I am is is fantastic and the staff are amazing. I just wish they were paid what they deserve!! I hope you get positive results and are on the way to recovery soon. Take care.
Sorry to hear you are having a bad time. But, at least you in the right place and (hopefully) being sorted soon. PS Codine can make you bunged up!
Sorry to hear you in hospital. Hope they find an answer to your painWishing you a speedy recovery.
Won't keep you in longer than necessary
Glad staff are looking after you
