Good morning Just wondering if any of you have leg cramps whilst taking bisoprolol?
I'm struggling to get more than 4 hours sleep as can't get comfortable due to DCM and now having been prescribed bisoprolol for ectopics I've got leg cramps.
Feeling exhausted 😩
Thank you

I get calf cramps I believe from statins or the ramipril. I started taking a B12 supplement that stopped them. I still get that feeling in bed but it doesn’t develop into cramp. You may want to ask the doc about it before taking them.
Thank you for replying. I am seeing HF nurse soon so I will talk to her about it. I'm wondering if I should start taking the Bisoprolol in the morning instead of at night to see if that helps.I'm currently taking losartan Bisoprolol and lanzaprazole in the evening.
Due to start entresto on the 16th Thank goodness, so losartan will stop then. But its twice a day so I'm thinking maybe try ASAP to get into routine of taking in the morning.
I'm going to rattle soon with all these meds! 3 months ago I wasn't taking anything and totally unaware of my heart problems 💔
before my heart attack I was on losartin. This is when the cramping started. I would lie awake feeling the muscle twitch and waiting for the cramp. It was awful. I stopped taking them and the cramping stopped. Since the heart attack I am on ramipril. I won’t go near losartin. The cramping started again with the new meds and the b12 stopped it. Like you I rattle when I walk 😀
Hi, at the moment I'm taking 1.25 will be increasing to 2.5 in a,few weeks time.I'm going to switch from taking it in the evening to the morning as suggested.
Hello, I had cramps in my feet/toes when prescribed 2.5 Bisoprolol so now take 1.25 in the evening and it’s made a difference. Very rarely get cramp now.
