Best Christmas present ever!

Yesterday was end of a long battle to get opthalmology apt - having been referred by optician I needed an urgent apt back in August. Admin claimed never to have no knowledge of apt, and optician sent thrre times. Enough!! I eventually got the correct email address and threatened to take the referral myself, and complained. Looks like macular degeneration. There have been a couple of studies showing a correlation between Entresto and mac degeneration but no causal link, so I was alarmed. Cardiologist discontinued Entresto as a precaution. Well, finally got to see opthalmologist yesterday who said there is macular degeneration (bad news), but its not the type that needs treatment and his advice was certainly to go back onto Entresto (cardiologist willing, that is) and improve general health and if mac degeneration becomes worse then it can be treated. So pleased as my general heart health has deteriorated since coming off Entresto. So now I can look forward to Xmas without worries about vision and able to go back onto drug that had so improved my quality of life. If I could do cartwheels I would!!
