I suggest you talk to your GP about your situation to see if there is anything which can be done either to adjust or change your medication, or whether you are still in an adjustment phase before things settle down.
firstly , at 2 weeks post surgery i am not surprised you feel wiped out in the mornings - it can take weeks for the effect of the anaesthetic to clear your system and your body is using lots of resources to try to repair you
may i suggest that you plan gentler mornings to allow you to recover, try leaving the walking until a time when you feel more steady
Beta-blockers can leave you feeling knocked out, but if this is getting in the way of your recovery or causing side effects which are difficult to live with you probably need to ask for a review, as suggested in earlier comments
Hello Montana77! I had open-heart surgery three years ago to the date! Do you want to talk? I am willing to share my phone number. I hope the administrator of this site can read my message if you desire to talk to me. Much love and understanding, Anne
