all too often people seem to forget about that particular choice, that or dead.
we keep on hearing about what is not going right or how much a medication is ruining something, the restrictions on our diet or having to go back to the doctor.
i can live with the side effects of my surgery no problem as the alternative involved a box and a social gathering with my attendance only in spirit, and at social gatherings I prefer spirit in a glass.but having said that my wife does look good in black and add in a hat with a veil...
I have chemo induced peripheral neuropathy. Had it since 2003 when underwent leukaemia treatment. My heart failure is also the result of my leukaemia treatment. It was very full on and lasted a whole year plus many blood transfusions much chemo and total body irradiation and an autologousstem cell transplant. The peripheral neuropathy is a total b***** and is with me all day and night. So far I have not found a treatment but amitriptylene 20mg helps me sleep at night. I am sorry to hear you have peripheral neuropathy but your symptoms may be different to mine as not caused by chemo. Maybe your GP or Consultant may have a suggestion. Considering I was given one month to live and I have lasted 19 years I shouldn't complain about the neuropathy (but I do!). Best wishes Claire
I had a vein removed from my right leg and an artery from my left arm to facilitate my triple bypass. I get quite severe pain accompanied by numbness and tingling at my wrist and ankle. Also I get stabbing pains, not only at these sites but elsewhere, which I have been told is transfered pain. I find both areas usually respond to a light massage and heat. The issue is a small price to pay for the benefits the bypass has provided. 😀
got the same problem from the vertebrates in my neck pressing down on the nerves result is get a lot of nerve pain in both arms taking gabapentin it helps a lot by the way your far from old
