Thankyou I will do. I went to the gp yesterday who have given me some tablets to help improve blood flow to the legs and arms. They just hurt constantly and burn

Sorry I am unclear if you were diagnosed with PAD or heart disease last year? I developed PAD, initially in my left leg, in 2010 when I noticed my leg getting tired and having to rest on a hill on the way to work. A few months later I was having to pull up with cramps which eased on resting. The diagnosis can be made by a Doppler test. Things continued to get worse and in 2013 I had balloon angioplasty. A bypass behind the knee was also planned but this never happened as the original vascular surgeon left and his replacement prefers to watch and wait (reactive not proactive). Currently the angioplasties have reverted and I am worse than I was before. I then developed angina and am now discharged from the vascular clinic. Six weeks post bypass I am wondering how it is going to affect my rehab although with the "pump" working better things may improve (I hope)!

I get valve issues due to my vsd. I’m probably the onli person in the world that does. 1st time I heard about this issue was wen I was 7 and had to have a valve op. I’ve onli heard of old ppl wiv valve issues so I’ve got discouraged about it.

Hello Law1982, sadly I have lots of strange feelings in my feet and my big toes are numb and despite being 👎numb they are exceedingly painful. Burning ,throbbing , tingling like hundreds of wasps have stung me or I just been out in freezing ice and snow. I am also Diabetic so some of my agony is put down to nerve damage. I am prescribed Gabapentin which is helpful as painkiller for your peripheral neuropathy. Been taking them for years, your GP may be able to help. Good luck cheers Gladie

The pains can be mild to extreme burning numbness tingling. They won't prescribe pain killers I have to go back to see the cardiovascular doctor but I'm currently moving so everything is crazy and up in the air atm

Hi. I hope you are keeping as well as you can and getting the attention from Doctors.. I have the leg and feet symptoms which you describe. I haven't yet sought a diagnosis but I have suspicions it may be PAD.

I suffered constant calf cramps from an early age. Developed varicose veins when young, and despite being slim and active I always had mildly painful legs in my 30's but pushed through it. I have a connective tissue disease and Autonomic dysfunction and have put up with these pains believing it could be related to my conditions. But in past few years both legs are really heavy when I walk and stand. They have also got bigger. Walking has been difficult for a number of years due to heaviness and pain, but now its almost impossible. My legs burn, tingle, fizz, throb all the time, even in bed at night. My feet do the same and feel so tight, and as if they're being crushed, especially my left..Three years ago I developed unprovoked tendon problems due to my connective tissue disorder, and at the time my leg was also painfully ice cold. The doctor could only detect feint pulse at the ankle and at the time was concerned. I pursued reasons for my ankle damage, but wonder now if the two things were separate issues. I never did get feint pulse addressed and I think now that it may be PAD related?.

It is a concern being left to wonder and worry, especially when its something like this.. I hope you can receive great care, and with the right help are better able to keep your symptoms controlled. Do let me know how you get on..I'm going to see a GP about this in a few weeks.. Take care. Very best wishes xx
