Dear Piglet-blue 75
Sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble finding insurance cover for your travels.
I would think that the insurance companies are asking the same question as me......... you say that the operation you had was unsuccessful { sorry to hear } so what are they going to do or are doing for you?
For if you are still awaiting for something to happen { ie repeat op/ drugs etc } then you will find it difficult { for obvious reasons } to get that insurance for the insurance company will not know the level of threat of paying out.
You might find it easier to get just a one journey insurance policy backed up by your GP or hospital than a year one.
Take care and I really hope that your holiday can go ahead.
Give Avanti a try
Hi I have had a transplant and I use insurancewith.com they specialise in pre existing conditions. I only ever take out single trip in case anything happens and I have paid for an annual and I can't use it. I hope you get insurance and have a lovely holiday. Char
I have used Staysure for my trips abroad.
I’ve got a multitude of health issues and went with staysure. I’ve had two mitral valve replacements They were expensive but it was worth it to have cover.
We have used Staysure for a few years.Unfortunately they will not cover my exsisting conditions as I am awaiting a procedure. But comparing annual with full cover previously 390 for hubby & I compared to 720 with all clear without cancellation cover.
I contacted the British brokers for travel insurance, and they told me that they would not insure anyone with outstanding tests or procedures.
I had to cancel my genetic screening for familial hypercholesterolaemia even though it had no impact on my treatment to get coverage.
