Hi Hope you are all well. Im looking to go to Poland for the weekend in October and wondered can anyone recommend a good travel insurance company to cover my heart condition? I had a heart attack 5 months ago and had 5 stents. Feeling fine now (aged 51.)
Thanks in Advance Chris

Good luck they all promise to be competitive but they are not just like being disabled anything concerning health or disability is a rip of your best bet is to troll the net
I also would recommend Staysure, I had a stent put in last year and took out insurance this summer for a trip to France even with Covid-19 cover I didn't think it was too expensive.
I used Staysure for a couple of years but like most other insurers the premium started to climb. I switched to Explorer who gave a more competitive quote on an annual policy and stayed with them for the last two years. As I remember they didn't requote when the first year lapsed but left it for me to reapply. Their second year quote also came out cheaper than another quote from Staysure. Sadly took the annual option and only used it twice before lockdown. I would welcome any tips on other insurers for multiple heart events.
My recommendations are StaySure and All Clear. With cheaper cover I would recommend you check Ts & Cs carefully to ensure you are getting the cover required!
I use All Clear Boothcd. I would ring and explain your health problems to a medical advisor And I was also surprised that some doctors visits from years ago Were diagnosed differently to what i was told So they get out of paying if they can I was told by physio i had a stiffness in the hip. My medical notes said Osteoarthritis So just be careful. Good luck Brian
Many thanks for all the responses. I've gone with Staysure and as advised rang and had a long chat over the phone to ensure all meds were listed. £32 for the weekend in Poland Comprehensive cover was expecting more given it's only 5 months since heart attack. thank you
