Assalamualaikum. My father is about 55 yrs old and had CABG surgery in 2007. Since then he's Alhamdulillah quite fine from cardiac side. But he has vertigo for meniers syndrome since 2017 and it is also in control. From last few months he frequently has mild dizziness, blurry eyes with muscle pain(lower limbs only) and often these come together. And when I message his legs then he feels quite better. Is there any possibility that these are symptoms of cardiac problem, like improper blood circulation? We can't ourselves figure out whether it's ENT related, cardiac or simply muscle related. Looking for opinions.

Seeking kind advices
Hello welcome to this site, there are lots of knowledgeable people here who my respond soon, I’m unable to help other than basic advise of going back to your father’s doctor or cardiologist? Hope your father’s health improves very soon. It is always difficult to see our parents in difficulties.
Thank you..
This is a peer group of people who help each other by our experience. We are not doctors. That said there is plenty of advice here. Your father may have labarynthitis which affects the inner ear and can give the kind of symptoms that you decribe,,,,this from my own experience.Itneeded treament from a doctor. I do not believe it is related to any heart condition.
Hello SumaiyaAnjum. As other posters have indicated, members here are generally not medically trained, so offer opinions based largely on experience and what we've learned from that.It seems logical that the balance issues are Meniere's related, but the muscle cramps sound like a deficiency of some sort; could be lack of salt (but take care using salt with a heart condition) or problems with blood getting to/from the extremities. This might be a circulatory issue, either heart or vein related or a combination of both.
Blurry vision and dizziness combined might also be a circulatory issue, i.e. lack of oxygenated blood to the brain.
My thoughts (not being a medical person) are first to make sure that your father is getting a full range of vitamins and minerals in his diet to support healthy blood, nerves and circulation, then to make sure that he follows at least a gentle exercise regime every day (30 mins walking is much better than vigorous exercise infrequently) and finally (and probably most important) to speak with the cardiology department as soon as possible about these symptoms. At least call the specialist nurse if you cannot get hold of the cardiologist.
Do also bear in mind that the condition/operation your father has experienced can have repercussions in terms of stress and anxiety, which can bring on a range of unpleasant symptoms that would be too long to list here. If the symptoms are stress-related, your rather needs reassurance from a specialist.
I hope this is helpful and that your father soon feels better.
I’m a similar age to your father and had 3x CABG in 2000, many people on here will have similar issues but very probably different circumstances. If I were you, I would take him to see his doctor or consultant, prepare your questions in advance and don’t get out of the chair until you have a satisfactory answer.
Walikumsalam sumiyah I am 53 with CAD and Cardiomyopathy I am experiencing same issues as your father my cardiologist referred me for angiogram. I have my angiogram a week ago awaiting results. I suggest you request the same. A.H
My mother in law recently had dizzy spells, called 111 who advised go to A&E who found a heart arrythmia. She subsequently had investigations within a few days and heart medication prescribed, and the dizziness has gone. So I suggest seeing your doctor soon to get diagnosis and treatment. If you are worried when a spell of symptoms occurs, call 111. Best wishes for recovery.
Ask doctor because his condition is different then every one else's here, I myself 58, female had triple bypass 3 months ago, as for your dad he might be have neuropathy from diabetes. Don't ask GO, now to doctors. Here in USA our medical systems work FAST, FAST, FAST!
Thanks guys for your responses. We got to understand recently seeing the net that my father was having these symptoms because of taking a medicine named EPLERENONE for long time. It is not exactly side effect of the medicine but taking this long time causes these problems mostly. Alhamdulillah it is not for any of his physical problems.
