Hi

Is anyone taking dapagliflozin for their Heart condition,just wondering as I’ve just

been prescribed them curious about side effects etc that may have been encountered?

Dear AliDerees

Yes I am on dapagliflozin as well and have been on it now for about five weeks.

The only sides that I had was a little dizzy to start with and now that is gone other than that….nothing.

Hope that it does its work for you with no side effects, for it is a good drug to be offered and put on so my Heart nurse tells me.

I’ve been on Dapagliflozin just over 6 months + only probs have been mild thrush symptoms which Canesten cream has managed + Cranberry tabs if necessary.

Hi,I have been on Dapagliflozin since my initial heart event and am happy to say I have not experienced any side effects 😁

I was put on dapagliflozin last Christmas when I had my cardiology appointment and also amalopidine from GP on top of the usual cocktail of heart drugs. To be perfectly honest i feel better now than I have for a few years, even the slight angina when Dog walking after a large meal has disappeared. The only thing I have noticed is I seem to pee twice as much as before and the volume seems greater. A full nights sleep without waking for a pee is a distant memory, but that also could be advancing years!

Hi been on it a while now, quite a few months. I didn’t have any side effects at all. I take it about 10:00 pm before my zzzzzzzztime.

Hi was on Dapagliflozin for 2 weeks.Swollen Penis so stopped taking them.

I’m on Dapagliflozin - it’s a drug used for diabetes- helps reduce sugar levels in the blood by excreting it in the urine so UTR’s can be a risk- I’ve had no problems with it and have been on it now over a year
