I have heart failure recently diagnosed, im 48 years old, i dont smoke or drink alcohol. My ef 24%.
I wanted to ask how long it from 15% to 50% with Entresto (that’s excellent news). This is so good news that this drug can improve rhe ef. I am abit anxious about low BP but we will wait and see.
I will ask my HF nurse about the new drug aswell.
Good luck with the new drug and i hope it works well with you.
All very best
Take care
Thank you again for letting know about the new drug
@Khan29uk, I was diagnosed about five years ago with AF, HF and DCM. At first I was in shock and I’ve had many ups and downs along the way. My bo has always been low so I was started on Entresto in hospital so they could keep an eye. My medication has been chopped and changed over the years but now I feel fine and sometimes walk as far as four miles which I would never have believed before. Good luck with your journey x
I'll be interested to know how you get on. My consultant is recommending me for Entresto, but when I said my last blood test showed I'm borderline Type2, he mentioned a diabetes drug now being used for heart failure - obviously Dapa. Good luck with yours
