Lisinopril - advice/ help

Hi all,

Looking for info/ experience. I’ve been on Lisinopril for a month now. I am currently waiting on heart surgery for aortic valve replacement.

However, I have developed insomnia. Does anyone know if Lisinopril can do this, or is there possibly another reason?

Any advice or info of anyone who has been taking this would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Adam

I have been on Lisinopril for approaching twenty years and cannot say that it affects my sleep. Since my amputation 20 months ago my sleep has been poor and I put it down to both the phantom pain and the drugs used to control the pain. If you wake up and your health or other issues come to mind getting back to sleep is a problem.
