Ectopic heartbeat

I've been told recently that I have heart failure with a poor left ventricle flow. That shocked me and I have been taking my blood pressure regularly. Recently my pulse rate has been coming back as low. I've had ectopic heart for years and was told that it meant the beat came in early. So I wondered if my pulse rate is actually higher than what is shown on the monitor or should I worry?

I was told by a Cardiac Nurse it is very difficult to get an accurate Pulse if your having frequent Ectopics which makes sense !!!
