I am 40 years old and have a stent, which was fitted in 2015. I am now fit, healthy and had no issues since . Due to having a mortgage I have always had life insurance, unfortunately I have always done it for 10 year terms. My current insurance is coming to an end so looking to renew. A simple comparison search as given me a result of 'none available'. I was wondering if anyone can suggest companies that do insure those with heart conditions?

Life Insurance
Having had problems getting insurance previously for non-cardiac reasons, I would suggest using a broker to identify appropriate insurance policies. Some will do this without charging a fee. A broker was able to find me cover in my mid 20s when everyone else said no, although it was too expensive: I was fortunate that I didn’t have a mortgage driving the search. I’m 38 and classed as uninsurable atm, but if ever that changed, I would always use a broker as my first port of call.
Thanks. I have made contact with a couple and await call backs/questionaires
Yes I was looking at life insurance policies too. After declaring my cardiac stent, I was uninsurable too! Sucks assss doesn’t it.
Will look forward to reading how you got on with broker in due course 👍
I made a claim on my life insurance after my heart attack and stent and tbh haven't actually tried to get any insurance
