Hello
Fibromyalgia is still something that is sort of unknown exactly what causes it but one theory is a traumatic event like a big op
20 years ago I had a hysterectomy and after one thing started hurting then something else and so on and that is when they finally said I had Fibromyalgia no doubt brought on by the trauma of the op I had
There is a Community on Health Unlocked for Fibromyalgia not sure if you have come across it but I will put you the link on and if you have not already looked it might help you x
I've had FIbro for 30 years. Yes, a sudden illness or accident can trigger it. They have no iea why. Apart from painkillers there is no treatment for Fibro except exercise. I know it's painful but the more you do,the better it will become. Some people choose to stay in bed because of the pain but that makes it worse. It can take me 2 to 3 hours on a morning before I am mobile but the more I can manage to do and push through the pain, the better I am. Fibro causes all sorts of odd symptoms; pain, brain fog, costochondritis. However I have never ever heard of it causing toothache. Like BeKInd28, mine started soon after a hysterectomy.
