high bp after walking
If I was you I would call your GP today about that episode of high BP, the level, symptoms at the time, and how long it took to reduce.
I agree with Kristin, let your GP know. You probably find taking your BP a chore, but it would be useful to keep a record of your BP and exercises to refer to when you see / speak to the cardiologist.
Go back to the GP or see a different one if possible and insist that this is happening during exercise and ask for an urgent referral for a stress test
thanks for the comments at the moment bp is at 145/95 at rest. am reluctant to go to A&E as might be wasting their time last time i went i was sort of treated with the impression we have enough to do. am sure they think i am a time waster
well, I finally rang 111 a doctor phoned me and said I should contact my doctor on Saturday but the doctor surgery was closed so I went to A&E saw the triage nurse this is what i told her i was feeling sick headache slight chest pain neck pain and stomach and after a walk, my bp was 175/110 she took my ops and an ACG then i waited and waited 4.5 hours later still not been seen but i knew what was going to happen they would take blood and another 4 hours later they would send me home like they have done before i came to the conclusion that they did not think my conditions was serious so i left. think they must off looked at my notes and decided it must be an angina attack so not serious as i have been twice before with different symptoms so going to docs tomorrow. it's getting me down. the doctor is trying to control it with tablets and is running out of ideas and the hospital just sees an angina attack without investigation like stress and physical test etc. not sure where i go i do suffer from depression this is not helping every day when i walk the dog i think is this my time to get the harp and wings. anyway thanks for the advice above hope you all get well
