Here I am in the CCU having had HA No.7. A 1 hr on the table that turned into neatly 3. Still here and after 4 days hoping to get home this afternoon even though I have a chest infection. Yes the food is still terrible, I mean how do you get icecream wrong, but they do. Roll on home time.

Great to hear. You must be feeling well ….at least well enough to comment on the Hospital ice cream? Good for you. Onwards and upwards!

Wow! Are you working towards a world record ?!! So pleased you are improving- despite the ice cream- and getting home again. Needless to say - take it easy!!
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and comments. Been home for a couple of days and still feeling rough from the infection but they had to be a bit rough during the surgery. So managed to stay out of hospital for 14 months before this. Bit of a record for me. Now got to see the vascular people as got an issue with blood flow in my legs.
At least they have a decent costa in the hospital.
