Fluffybee,

Good to hear you are home.

I have replied to you in your earlier post.

I thought I had replied I'll try again.

Firstly as Mint Tea has said you have not wasted anybody's time. The problem is the lack of knowledge of Microvascular and vasospastic angina. This we all know needs to change.

I have an agreed Admission plan which is on the hospital's computer system. I carry a copy with me wherever I go. On my phone and a paper version.

It helps that I have a confirmed diagnosis and I have had input from the several specialists I have seen over the years.

I am given IV GTN and morphine and admitted to CCU when my vasospastic angina becomes unstable.

You may not feel you have the strength at the moment however you need to advocate for the care you need.

Contact your Cardiologist explain what's happening and ask for a review of your medication and a care plan. Ask your GP to support you by writing too.

If you don't get a positive response contact the hospital's Patient Advisory and Liaison service PALS. Be prepared to make a formal complaint.

Your pain is not being acknowledged or appropriately treated. Just because the staff cannot see our pain doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

That's my morning rant over. I am in more pain again and the weather's turning.

Take care of yourself and rest well

Sorry to hear about your expedition to A&E. Hope you feel better soon. Sorry you were not treated better. I hope you find a cardiologist who has more knowledge very soon. Mind yourself.

As you say. Good thing not heart attack. Keep asking questions even ask for second opinions it is your right if you feel you are not feeling any better.

Try to relax and keep positive. You will get there for sure.

Hey FB,

Aww bless you - your hospital sounds as good as mine! If it's not a heart attack they send you home with paracetamol for the car journey home and go back to your GP.

You didn't waste anyone's time at all - dont beat yourself up about going there for them to dismiss you. Trust me I've lost count the number of times that's happened to me! It's wrong of them for not making further investigations whilst you are there.

I only hope you can get through to someone who has some form of understanding about these ruddy spasms and you get some sensible answers.

Take things easy today - thinking of you ❤

Keep us posted xx
