Propanalol and dentist

I’m awaiting to get an appointment as a one off dentist as I don’t currently have one and wanted to know if anyone can tell me if I would be allowed to have propanalol while at the dentist. Is it allowed with general anaesthesia etc

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I have had two surgeries whilst on Bisoprolol so imagine you should be fine but it is a question more for your GP/cardiologist/dentist than a forum as they will have details of your heart issues. If it is an extraction you may be referred to a dental clinic.

I had a couple of extractions while on bisoprolol, no problems, but it's best to check as Michael suggests. My dentist knew about possible reactions. Good luck with your hunt, and treatment.

Tell your dentist about your medication. They will manage things appropriately.
