Warfarin is a relatively common medication, I'd have thought most if not all dentists would have the relevant training and experience. My father took it and if I remember correctly all that was required was pausing for a certain period, maybe 2-3 days, before the dental treatment.

Which part of South East London? I'm in Blackheath and I go to Belmont Park Dental Practice and they are very good at. I have a pacemaker and am also on anticoagulation.

I was on warfarin for 5 yrs. I’m now on the ordinary anticoagulant. All you have to do is let your dentist know the meds you’re on and they will do their job. Remember they have had training around this. I have never had any problems.

All the best

Has your doctor given you advise on what antibiotic to use prior to any dental procedure? Aka teeth filling extraction ect? My husband had sepsis and I actually asked this and got a letter to take to dentist. That is as important as your anticoagulants.... these days every single time we visit our surgery regardless of age or health our dentist makes us fill these out prior to going in to our actual appointment. I would ring and ask. Frankly getting a dentist on the NHS is a major accomplishment these days! Ring and ask
