First Days After Ablation

I had my ablation procedure on Wednesday and have to say the care and treatment was superb, the staff can only be described as excellent.

Like us all I was apprehensive, went in early and had the procedure at 09.00. The after effects have been minimal:-

1) It took me quite a while to recover from the effects of the anaesthetic. As the afternoon progressed things improved and I went home at 19.30.

2) I have a bruise on my groin where the catheter (I hope I have the right terminology) was inserted.

3) I slept ok on Wednesday evening and a lot better Thursday night.

I feel a lot better and have had positive feed back from the Consultant following the procedure.
