How long for heart to heal after ablation?

I had ablation done 6 weeks ago for high PVC load. I still have not seen any real positive effects from the procedure. Does this mean I'll need another?

Hi, Had my ablation 11 weeks ago - for 8 weeks nothing changed - 8 weeks + 1 day it was like a switch was thrown and almost free from any missed beats and my heartbeats back around 65 at rest. So hold in there for a few more weeks.

So it took 8 weeks for you to heal? I'll give it another month then and see how it goes. I've got follow up 7 day holter in February.Thanks so much for replying I was starting to feel a bit hopeless.

Yes, it was 8wks then the change was all at once. Until then i had not noticed any improvement from the day of treatment. The cardio did say that the burning during ablation takes a while to heal over but never thought it would take this long. Hope you get there soon.

It's nearly 8 week mark and no improvement at all. I have a 7 day monitor on now so I'll wait for the result of that monitor.

My dr did not plan to fit holter until 11 wks. Hope you get sudden change soon. Good luck.

Yeah I am surprised that I have another holter so early. Just resting until I fully heal. Still got so many PVCs and they are making me feel so dreadful.
