TOE Waiting times

I have had an MRI and also expect to be referred for a TOE endoscopy. Anyone have any ideas of how long this appointment takes to come through?

Hi. I am in Essex, took a couple of months to get to Basildon hospital, procedure no problem,but did confirm severity of Mitral valve regurgitation,which does not need repair just yet, good luck heartie !

No but AF Left untreated could cause it, I am on verapamil,and Edoxaban, seems to help a bit,but I am 77 ! Totally fit and hill walking 18 months ago !

Yes but I am probably not a good risk, was told the leaky valve has caused the AF, went in for Cardioversion for AF but on admittance AF wasn’t happening ! So sent home,all this diagnosis and treatment takes time. Happy to avoid Open heart surgery, try not to stress too much you will get it sorted eventually,heart is very complicated and loads of different things to go wrong,hope all goes well for you. I am a retired nurse, feeling bit fed up I can’t walk far without getting breathless or ride my bike any more!, hey ho
