I saw the Heart Failure Nurse January 31st she said you need a 24hr Holter so received appointment today for March 6th so just 5 weeks which I think is pretty reasonable. Just received another appointment to see H F Cardiologist on the 11th April so just 5 weeks after Holter.
He is the ICD/CRTD specialist so I am just wondering if the Nurse saw something on the ECG on the 31st that has promted this ? I am back up to 10mg Bisoprolol from 7.5mg with obs of 96/60 with HR 58 my HR is increasing now I am up to 10mg and I was concerned that it would fall . The Cardiologist did write " this gentleman has a very complex Cardiac Anatomy " looks like Bisoprolol is working in reverse lol.
Just wondering if these appointments are near the norm now a days !!

Good to hear you're being well looked after. My personal opinion is that I think how quickly you get any appts is probably down to various things such as, your medical history, the nature of your current medical problems, the seriousness of it etc & then possibly your postcode area!
Hi Prada47, It doesn't necessarily mean the nurse saw anything extra concerning, I think it depends what hospital you're under too and department within that hospital. However I think it's a good thing you being seen in what seems pretty quick in this day and age of the NHS. Hopefully the appointments won't be cancelled or rescheduled.Hope everything goes well for you and please let us know how you get in with everything. Good luck🤞
