Can I take Vitamin D safely with heart medication?.

I do, my cardiologist is happy for me to take it, it might even help your heart. I would ask you GP.

I bought some from Boots last year. Unfortunately I had already opened the plastic bottle before reading the details. It read that it contained Magnesium. I have arrhythmias and decided not to chance it. The reason for that is that it was recommended that I try Magnesium a few months earlier. I did and it made my arrhythmias worse. We are of course all different, each of one us responding differently. That's my guidance .... always check the labels before buying. You may be fine, none of use know for as I say, we are all different.

I get erratic beats but my GP has just agreed to me starting magnesium. I have fibromyalgia and magnesium is good for muscles and nerves.

I take a multivit+minerals tablet, with no issues. I live in the north of Scotland, so diet is about the only way I get any Vit D !
