Morning everyone. Can I please ask if anyone suffers with twinges aches in arms and tingling in hands and fingers?. Diagnosed with angina in march. Lad narrowed 50-75% but treating with meds. Doc started me on isodur 25 a few weeks ago because if my arms and it does seem to have improved but I am worried that it means angina has got worse and maybe circulation is compromised. Does anyone have the same problem? Would appreciate any advice. Thankyou

Arm pains
I get numbness and tingling in hands arms and feet and legs, but it's a side effect of the sotalol I am on. Been 6 years.
Hi I was diagnosed with Angina 13 months ago and had the same problem. It then started to get worse and the upper inside of my arms ached really badly. In February I felt uncomfortable in bed and took my GNT spray for the first time. After dropping back off to sleep I woke with the same pains and took another dose.
I told my wife in the morning and she told me to go to A&E or at the very least ring my Doctor, I rang the Doctor and he prescribed me Cocodamol!?! I rang my wife and she begged me to go to Hospital which I did and discovered I had had a heart attack, I later had a triple bypass. I am not saying yours is a similar problem but if I knew then what I know now I would take myself to A&E and although they are under so much pressure I would explain to them the issues.
Hope all is OK.
BTW I was not prescribed any drugs with my Angina just the spray so knew it couldn't be a side effect.
Yes I do ever since having heart attack and stent fitted
Yes I do I noticed it a couple weeks after my HF was diagnosed, I to am on Bisoprolol
Thankyou for taking time to reply. Do you get the problem in your hands and fingers too or just your arms
Good morningI had strange tingling and numbness in my arms and hands which I found worrying. At the time I was on 1.25 Bisoprolol. My GP diagnosed lack of Folic Acid after a blood test (female aged 64 not pregnant!) I had a 4 month course of folic acid and haven't had any tingling since. Kind regards..
Thankyou for that. I also cannot be pregnant lol but I will ask if lack of folic acid could be a possibility.
I too get discomfort and tingling in my neck arms and hands especially in the morning I do some yoga stretching to ease it. I presume it’s arthritis but could be circulation.
I take phenytoin and phenobarbital for epilepsy. Long term side effects of these can be low folic acid levels. You can ask GP for a blood test for low folate and B12. I have low folate levels and tingling fingers.
Will see if folate pills fix the issue. There are other symptoms of low folate which are similar to some you get from heart attack /meds etc.
