Hello & Welcome :-)

I am sorry to hear this

How many Bypasses did you have and I presume the Cardiac Nurse was referring to the Bypasses you did have that was seen to have narrowings ?

Are you out of breath all the time or just when moving about ?

It can be a worrying time when you hear something like this and I am not as knowledgeable as so many other members on here who I am sure will come along with their advice

It is easy for me to say but there could be something really simple the Surgeon suggests when you get to see them and please come back and let us know how you get on :-) x

Hello BeKind28

I had 2 grafts done and the narrowings were to my knowledge new ones not the bypasses but she didn't tell me to much just said the surgeon will update me

I get out of breath moving around and chest goes tight it doesn't take much if I sit down I seem to be ok with just the odd flutter

Thanks for your reply

Barry

Hello Barry :-)

Well it is good news the grafts you had look ok but maybe it is just me that thinks they were only in there 6 months ago did they not notice some others were narrowing as I believe it takes time for this to happen and 6 months is not very long for that to occur

Like I say I am not very knowledgeable with all this but I am sure they will sort it out even though you must be feeling quite fed up but fingers crossed and will wait to see how you get on :-) x

Hello Bekind28

Well had my visit with the sergeon he said my sturnum is nonunion and needs to be repaired I also have narrowings so he has ordered another angiogram to find out how narrow they are can we fix with stents or bypass before he fixes the sturnum

Hello :-)

I have been thinking about you and wondering how you have been :-)

I am sorry to hear you have to go through some more surgery but at least they can do something which has to be a good thing even though you must be feeling fed up I would presume ?

How do you feel after hearing the news ?

Thank you for getting back to me and letting me know how you got on :-) x

Hi

I had my bypass in March and whilst waiting in hospital to be transferred for my CABG I got Covid. After my bypass the scan showed fibrosis in my left lung. Since then I have had 2 X-rays which show its still there and I struggle for breath when trying to exert myself. Have you had Covid and developed the same?
